A unique course on giving, social responsibility, and intrinsic motivation is launched
The UP-Affiliated Elementary School and High School No.1 and the UP Green University Program launched an environmentally conscious, playful camp for the second time this year for children aged 6-10.
Within the framework of the NTP-Talent 2024. 0043 tender, 24 students from grades 1-3 of the UP-Affiliated Practivel Elementary School and High School No.1 participated in a series of workshops entitled "Eco-Friends" to nurture their talent in natural sciences. Teachers Tímea Józsa and Gabriella Richter expanded the knowledge of students interested in natural sciences through experiments, observations, measurements, field exercises, and interesting and challenging activities. The collaborative group work was followed by leisure activities.

Június 4-én a PTE Gyakorló Általános Iskola és Gimnázium Deák Ferenc Általános Iskola két hatodikos osztálya különleges tanulási programon vett részt a Pécsi Állatkertben. A „ZOOm into English” projekt keretében a diákok nemcsak élvezhették a meleg, napsütéses időben tett sétát, hanem közben hasznos ismereteket is szereztek az állatvilág sokszínűségéről, az angol nyelvet is aktívan használva.
A fesztiválok a szórakozás mellett hatalmas környezeti terhelést is jelentenek. Zsolnai Márk, a PTE ÁJK hallgatója, bemutatja, hogyan lehet zöldebbé tenni ezeket az eseményeket. A modern fesztiválok szemetet termelnek, széndioxidot bocsátanak ki, de mi van, ha mindezt csökkenthetjük?
A világ vezető zöld fesztiváljai, mint a német Fusion vagy a Glastonbury, már példát mutatnak – helyben gyártott evőeszközökkel, fenntartható ételekkel és napenergiával. A fenntarthatóság nem álom, hanem egy megvalósítható jövő. Hogyan érhetjük el mindezt Magyarországon?
Festivals are not only entertaining, but also have a huge environmental impact. Márk Zsolnai, a student at the Faculty of Law of the UP, shows how these events can be made greener. Modern festivals produce waste and emit carbon dioxide, but what if we could reduce all that? The world's leading green festivals, such as Fusion in Germany and Glastonbury, are already setting an example with locally produced cutlery, sustainable food, and solar energy. Sustainability is not a dream, but a achievable future. How can we achieve this in Hungary?
A Pécsi Tudományegyetem Egyetemi Könyvtár és Tudásközpont „Zöld Könyvtár” programsorozatának május 27-i félévzáró előadása éles tükröt tartott a jelenlegi gazdasági és társadalmi rendszerek fenntarthatósága elé. Dr. Erdős Katalin, a Közgazdaságtudományi Kar dékánhelyettese, adjunktusa közgazdaságtani szempontból elemezte a globális kihívásokat, egyensúlyozva elmélet és gyakorlati tapasztalat között.
The University Library and Knowledge Center of the University of Pécs held its final lecture of the semester on 27th May as part of its "Green Library" program series, which took a critical look at the sustainability of current economic and social systems. Dr. Katalin Erdős, associate dean and assistant professor at the Faculty of Business and Economics, analyzed global challenges from an economic perspective, balancing theory and practical experience.
