The Ocean Cleanup

Are you worried about climate change?

Do you want to do something to save the planet, but don't know how?

Since he was a teenager, Boyan Slat has been working on how to rid our oceans of the giant islands of garbage. By the age of 21, as chairman of his own foundation, he had already developed an ocean cleaning machine that could collect the garbage without harming wildlife.

SIMONYI HACKATHON - For a Greener and Healthier Future

The Hackathon is a fun and exciting all-day event where you'll get a crash course in how to take an idea from a solution to a problem to a concrete product or service.

Register for the UP Hackathon if you too dream of a greener, healthier future. There's no limit to your creativity, because this is a genre where you can't just come up with one solution - we want your solutions to be as colourful as possible.

If you're in the mood to work as part of a team to come up with something this cool to save our future, then you shouldn't miss Simonyi HACKATON!

For both the 5let Outlet and the Incubation Programme, we welcome projects that aim to lead to a greener future.

If you have a good idea you'd like to implement, would you like to start your own business? Then don't hesitate to submit your idea to the 5let Outlet and get an entry to the Simonyi Incubation Programme. The best ideas will get a team, a mentor and all the help they need to make it happen.
