The University of Sarajevo, together with its international partners, organised the Closing Meeting and Green Conference entitled “From Knowledge to Action – Universities Driving the Green Transition” on 20–21 January 2026.
The first Water Resilience Forum — focusing on Europe’s key issues of water security and climate adaptation — was held on 8 December in Brussels by the European Commission, in cooperation with the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions.

The University of Pécs (PTE) is taking part in an international research project seeking answers to one of the most pressing questions about the future of aviation: how can we produce environmentally friendly, synthetic aircraft fuel? The three-year project, titled SUSGREEN, aims to replace petroleum-based fuels with greener alternatives and thereby reduce the ecological footprint of air travel.Hydrogen plays a key role in this process.
