Organized for the 11th time this year "YouPick! Voluntarily for a clean Hungary" program, is the largest voluntary garbage collection campaign in Hungary. As in previous years, the UP-Affiliated Practical Schools participated in this noble initiative, following the philosophy of the Green University Program of the UP. The main aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the importance of environmental protection among children, parents and teachers alike. The students of the schools cleaned up the surrounding streets with great enthusiasm, and as a result of their work, several bags of household waste were removed from the areas. At the same time, the joint litter-picking raised awareness among the children and made them aware of the need to work together for our environment.
