The largest part of the river network is made up of streams and small rivers, which are increasingly threatened by drying out due to the small volume of water they transport, and for a significant part of which almost no hydrological data are available.
This is why the European Union's DRYvER project has set up the DRYRivERS community data collection, or "citizen science" network. Its aim is to collect data with the help of the public to measure when and where droughts occur.
