More than 50 university leaders and sustainability experts from various institutions across Europe participated in the one-hour Zoom session. Thirteen universities from the member institutions of the Hungarian Universities’ Sustainability Platform were represented. The event provided participants with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the UI GreenMetric WUR evaluation system and to discuss how their institutions could contribute to a greener and more sustainable operation. At the close of the event, the organizers encouraged European universities to join global sustainability efforts. They emphasized that cooperation between institutions is essential in increasing environmental impact and setting an example for the rest of the world.
