European waste reduction week
The European Waste Reduction Week (16 November - 24 November 2019) is planned for university citizens in connection with the University of Pécs as follows.
This year, we are urging everyone to keep the eyes open, discover and resolve situations in which we can prevent and reduce the amount of waste. Whether it's in our immediate environment, workplace, school or the roads that connect them. After all, if for some reason we have already given out money and bought it (not because of our needs, but because we need it), then do not throw it in the trash. Through reuse, donation, or even "rebirth", it lives on, the materials remain in the cycle of the economy, thereby depriving our already over-consumed Earth of new environmental elements.
"Bring your flask and reload it!" – Photo Contest
Take a selfie or ask your colleague/fellow student to get a lens while using the water island, and upload the photo to IDE! 20 lucky submitters will be drawn with a PTE Green University canteen and T-shirt.
Voluntary retail electrical and electronic waste disposal:
On 19 November 2019 from 7.00-8.30 a.m., collection point: Arable Office Building site designated parking lot (7633 Pécs, Plough K.J. u. 1/b.)

Which can be described as : household large appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric stove, boiler), household appliances (hair dryer, electric razor, iron, small diy machines /drill, flex etc./, toaster, mixer, microwave, vacuum cleaner, sewing machine, heater, computer, laptop, DVD player, video, drive, power supply, computer motherboard, winchester!
What NOT!!! take over the company: television, monitor, printer, fax, keyboard, toner, toner cartridge, tape recorder, dictation phone, projector, fluorescent lamp.
Voluntary residential dry element delivery:
The placement of the elements in the collection vessels at pte sites during the duration of the operation.

The most important information about the drop-off is:
- Used cooking oil from frying in plenty of fat must be delivered in a clean, filtered state.
- Used cooking oil can be collected in any PET bottle.
- Engine oil can't be dropped, they don't take over!

- unused and therefore unnecessary medicine
- needles, syringes, infusion fittings used at home
How can they place it?
- preferably in original packaging (to reduce the risk of breakage)
- carefully (due to puncture, cutting hazard)

Is there a cell phone in the drawer that you no longer use and don't need? Bring your old cell phone, throw it in our collection box, and you'll help save the gorilla population habitat.

Toy, candy charity collection:
With the help of the First Lions Club of Pécs for the needy youth of the Baranya County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired: from 8:00 to 12:00 on 18-20 November 2019 (Field Office Building, Office 305, Kata Hajdu)
Contribute tobeautify the holidays for young people in need. The most important information about the drop-off is that we are asking for the import of toys and sweets with a valid shelf life, which will be offered for charity, also targeting the upcoming Santa Claus and Christmas holidays.
"... I don't have lunch..." The 23rd-century Women's Society of Pécs is a member of the Society of Philanthropy. His Charity Gala Evening will take place on December 8, 2019 at 6 p.m. in Pécs, at the Kodály Center.
The performance of the Christmas Concert is the voisingers choir, led by The Choir' Szabolcs Balásy. From the proceeds of the evening, the association pays for meals for needy primary school children instead of parents. Currently, the number of supported children is 140. All those who support the concert are welcome in the Pécs Charitable Women's Society.

8R above all else!
- Reduce: Reduce! Use less materials, objects, resources. The baby's beautiful!
- Replace: Replace your product with a more environmentally conscious solution and service. For example, rent instead of shopping.
- Refuse: Reject! You don't have to accept what we disagree with, such as a flyer, a plastic bag, or a free promotional gift!
- Recycle: Collect selectively and utilize! Use recycled material or think about it when you make something: what happens to it when it becomes waste?
- Reuse: Use it again! Could the product become redundant be used for something else? For example, use parts or give it other functionality?
- Repair: Fix it! If something is worth fixing or having to fix, extend the life of the product!
- Rot: Compost, collect separately, use it locally! You can compost everywhere and it feels really good to put it in the ready compost later!
- Rethink: Think again! Is there no better solution to a particular problem that is less burdensome to the environment?
