The University of Pécs announced a tender for the free use of 25 bicycles provided by the Sports Office of the UP within the framework of the Green University Program's "Cycle to work on your bike!". On 21st March, the successful applicants received their bikes in the courtyard of the Rector's Office of the UP. The success of the competition is reflected in the fact that twice as many applications were received as there were bicycles to give away.
The Green University Program of the UP will soon be launching a game for all university staff to promote cycling to work. Employees who agree to cycle to work during the game will have the chance to participate and win practical cycling equipment. Details of the game are expected on 25th March.
