On 9th March, the English-German Student Union will host the International Evening, which will welcome more than 3,500 guests.
You can admire the beautiful national costumes on the stage of Zsolnay Hall, attend the first multicultural recipe book preview at the University of Pécs, listen to the music of 10 nations, taste the delicacies made by the students at the table of 20 nations and enjoy their own PMS concert. Unusually, this event also hosts a meeting of Alumni students of the Medical School’s English and German programs.
This year's motto is ’Go Green. Think globally. Act locally.’ Students believe that every effort should be made at a local level to protect the environment. Plastic straws are banished from the event, and instead of disposable plastic cups, guests can enjoy their beverages from plant-based, biodegradable, and reusable festival glasses.
