We are building a green future!

Sustainability is not just a buzzword – it is increasingly becoming an essential mindset. The UP Green University Program Office, in collaboration with the University Student Council, expanded its sustainability efforts this spring with a dynamic program: Between 1st March and 30th April, 2025, the UP Green University Ambassador Program was launched on a pilot basis in the university's five dormitories in Pécs, during which students actively participate in making their dormitory communities more sustainable. As part of the program, students living in each dormitory—the UP Green University Ambassadors—have committed to setting an example and helping their peers develop a more environmentally conscious lifestyle through creative actions, community programs, and awareness-raising activities.
