On 22nd September 2022, the Sustainability Platform of Hungarian Universities was established with the initiation of the University of Pécs, joined by fourteen Hungarian universities committed to sustainability. The Sustainability Platform of Hungarian Universities was expanded by two new universities. The members of the Hungarian Universities Sustainability Platform (MEFP) are now (in bold the newly joining institutions): Corvinus University of Budapest, Budapest Business University, Budapest Metropolitan University, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences, University of Miskolc, John von Neumann University, University of Nyíregyháza, Óbuda University, University of Pannonia, University of Pécs, Semmelweis University, University of Sopron, University of Szeged, University of Győr.
