Green Library Lecture - Our ability to adapt to climate change

The Green Library Working Group of the University Library and Knowledge Center of the University of Pécs cordially invites you

to a lecture entitled Our Ability to Adapt to Climate Change.

Speaker:

Dr. Béla Német, retired associate professor – Institute of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, University of Pécs

Building on his R&D&I work over the past two and a half decades, as well as his university and public lectures, the speaker will summarize how we can achieve faster progress in the areas of climate change adaptation and sustainability.

His goal is to highlight the role that the European Union, the Hungarian state, our city community, university and secondary school education, and mass media can play in adapting to climate change and promoting sustainability. With this in mind, we may be able to answer the question of what individuals can do to put the question posed in the title into practice.
