An initiative of the European Commission, the Peer Parliament. The European Commission encourages citizens to discuss how Europe can become climate neutral in an informal (online or offline) setting with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors.
Why is this initiative special?
An innovative, democratic tool for citizens to participate in the climate dialogue
Participants' views are fed back to decision-makers by filling in a short questionnaire
The aggregated results will be compiled into a report, which will be sent to the European Commission by the European Climate Pact Secretariat
The results will be discussed by EU policymakers and stakeholders and fed into the conference held about the future of Europe.
