About career choices in higher education For the third time, the University of Pécs is organizing its enrolment event, the "Go to UP! Cultural Festival" this time at the Expo Center in Pécs on 14th October 2022. The aim of the Career Festival is to introduce prospective students to the wide portfolio of education and services offered by the University of Pécs (UP), but also to show that UP is much more than just one higher education institution: being part of the UP Family is a life-defining experience. In addition to the traditional exhibition space with a booth, we welcome secondary school students, their teachers and parents to the event with professional presentations, advice sessions, a concert cavalcade with a university festival atmosphere, plus prize draws. We would like everyone who is interested to get into the world and the atmosphere of Pécs and the University of Pécs for one day, showing what the #UPfamily feeling is like. From information on the new admission rules, to faculty offerings and dormitory facilities, to university sports life and student competitions, there will be information on all areas, and we will also have four performers whose careers are at least partly connected to our university. The Festival will feature Made in B, O'Sullivan, Mehringer and Pixa, but also a songwriting course by Zoltán Beck, a lecturer at the UP, who is also the frontman of the band 30Y. The event will also be attended by UP's key partners, including the city of Pécs, with whom the university has received the "City Marketing Strategy" award for its joint marketing strategy coordination. The Culture Festival, which has won several national and international professional awards, is free of charge from 10:00 to 17:00 on Friday 14th October, but registration is required.Detailed and constantly updated information on the programme can be found on the dedicated website (http://felveteli.pte.hu/kulturfeszt), and in the official Facebook event (3. The Green University Program of the UP will also participate in the event, you can find the booth in the Littke Hall of the Expo Center!
